Tavern on the Water Presents “We Love it In the Can” Fest
Cisco Brewery unveils new line of canned beers
What:Tavern on the Water and Cisco Brewers are inviting guests to kick off summer and celebrate Boston Beer Week at the “We Love it In The Can” Fest, as Cisco Brewers introduces its expanded line of canned craft beer, showcasing Summer of Lager and Indie IPA in cans for the first time. For $20, guests will receive tickets redeemable for four canned beers, free samples of some unusual Cisco offerings from their Farmhouse Series line (beers fermented in wood barrels from the winery), and unlimited passed appetizers.
The featured beer selections will include: Whale's Tale, an English style pale ale balanced with Maris Otter malt, hints of crystal malt and generously hopped with East Kent Goldings; Sankaty Light, a light American Golden Lager at 3.8 percent alcohol and 126 calories; Indie IPA, a full malty bodied East-meets-West Cost IPA, balanced by fruity apricot and grapefruit hop character; Summer of Lager, a classic Bavarian style lager with a delicious malt palate and an assertive noble hop finish with hints of citrus.
As part of the celebration, Cisco invites guests to take part in a temporary tattoo contest, where the most interesting placements will receive a Cisco Brewery gift basket, Legendary Restaurant Group gift cards, and more.
Who:Cisco Brewers is a craft brewery founded on Nantucket Island in 1995, and is the award winning brewer of Whale’s Tale Pale Ale. It is one of only 12 places in the world that produces all categories of alcohol - beer, wine and spirits – and is a legendary outdoor tasting facility.
